Anne Hutchinson Dyer was a 7th great grandmother of Winfield Dyer Gallup and a grandaughter of the famous Anne Marbury Hutchinson who was banished from Boston for her active opposition to the Quaker clergy and ultimately was murdered in an Indian massacre.  Anne married Samuel Dyer, son of William and Mary Barrett Dyer, the Quaker martyr who was hanged in Boston.
Samuel died early, however, and on September 22, 1679, at the age of thirty-four, Anne married a second time to Daniel Vernon and she was not heard from again. She was buried in Newport, RI, with her second husband.
While otherwise not historically notable, Anne is unique in that she is the convergence of four authenticated royal ancestral lines for Winfield Dyer Gallup plus one noble line. One royal line comes from Edward I, King of England (to Sir Edward Raleigh), another from John, King of England (to Anne Chamberlayne), another from Henry I, King of England (to John Booth & Anne Thimbleby) and the last from Henry II, King of England (to William Marbury). The noble line is from Sir William de Huntingfield one of  the Magna Charta Sureties (to Anne Chamberlayne). There are no other royal or noble lines in Winfield's ancestry except for a possible one through Charles Howard, 1st Earl of Nottingham, but this has not been authenticated so it will not be presented here.
The next section will present each of these royal and noble lines. They have been researched and authenticated by two of the most respected genealogists in America, Gary Boyd Roberts and Frederick Lewis Weis.

Of these twenty- five sureties only seventeen have identified descendants. Each of the seventeen is fully traced in the celebrated work "Magna Charta Sureties" by Frederick Lewis Weis with William R.
