Notes:
I have been unable to tie Mary Baldwin into the other Baldwins of Woburn, MA, who originating with the immigrant Henry Baldwin. She was too old to have been a daughter of Henry but she might have been a sister or an aunt. At any rate, it would have been exceedingly uncommon for her to have come alone. It is contended by some, with only the thinest of circumstantial support, that she was the sister of Henry Baldwin and their father was one Richard Baldwyn of Hertfordshire, England.
Notes:
I have not discovered what calamity struck poor Ebenezer, a 5th great grandfather of Winfield Dyer Gallup, that he should die at the age of 25 and within a year after the birth of his first child but he lived just long enough to make one very important contribution - Me!
