The Richard Masterson family line is well developed in the LDS Church files. That is, there are no glaring inconsistencies in the names, marriages and dates so it must have been provided to the Church by a diligent researcher. However, source references for this line other than the LDS files were not to be found by me. Therefore, because LDS Ancestral Files do not include source references, this family line must be considered "hearsay", the rather disparaging genealogical term applied to contentions without sources.
